Can you add shields to stations?

I saw somewhere that you could add shields to a space station, but everything I have tried doesn't work. I can't figure out how to connect power to a space station, since there is no ship core. I wanted to add power to my station so that I could have shields and a repair bay at my station when my ships have been slightly damaged. Does anybody know how to do this, or if it's even possible?

Stations are invincible (as well as everything that you attach to them, turrets,docked ships, ect) so they dont need shields.

As for power you can just put down a build block and go into build mode and add power. the power will give power to your turrets if you have any.

Only home bases are invincible. Normal stations still need shielding.



If the shields are not functioning, I would make sure you have power blocks supplying energy to the shield generators.

As stated on the last thread iterations, shields will not show up when editing the station in build mode even if they are present.
