Can the direction lines between warp gates be removed?

I removed a couple warp gates that were no longer needed. The gates are gone and no longer show up on the galaxy map. The connecting lines on the galaxy map are still there, however. Is this a bug, or is there some way to remove them?

Dollars to doughnuts you have to unlink them before you destroy the entities. Buggish, may just not have been foreseen. I'm sure that will be fixed in the future. Do you know the location of the gate? I'd be interested to know if flying through where it was still warps you.
