So, a bunch of mentions of broadside weapons, docking cameras, and other reasons for looking off to the side while in a ship have made we want to put this out there.

    1. Add chairs or secondary cores or something
Just something that control a bunch of different weapons from place, separately from the core (so the core doesn't get them) For this thread, I'm going to say "secondary cores." (No reason)

    2. Secondary cores can slave cameras, and cameras can be slaves to multiple cores.
The computers under that core can only show up if the camera you are in is a slave to that core. All cameras in current builds would have to be linked to the core during import.

    3. Allow us to set the order of cameras by linking the cameras in a chain.

    4. Add the ability to chain cameras together to act as one camera in the selection list.
You know how some of you like to put cameras behind one another so that if one camera gets knocked out, the one behind it can take over? This one's for you. You take the camera in back as a master to the one in front of it. And then do it repeatedly.

Already confirmed in some way, shape, or form.

    Good ideas.

Secondary cores would better with chairs, since you could link multiple chairs to one core, so you can control your weapons from the bridge, then if the bridge gets shot out, you can control it from the auxillary control center.

Ability to link cameras to weapon computers, when you select that weapon in flight you get that cameras view. Players who enter the weapons computer also have access to any cameras linked to it. These cameras would be locked from general use by the pilot. Linking multiple cameras together will create a zoomed in view.

Well, what if I want to share a camera between two weapons?
The order linking would let you lock out cameras from use.

Then maybe your ship is big enough that you don't notice if you connect to the camera in front or behind the other.

Logic can be slave to multiple masters. Why not cameras?

You can now do sort of a work around for this by building and docking turrets to your main ship. Since the turret uses a core then another person can enter that core and fire while you fly the ship. Basicly gunner seats without the interlocking to main core.
