Bug Camera view not oriented to Cores forward plane

Not sure if this is normal but i discovered that if you place a upward or downward facing camera
the camers left is aligned with the cores forward, and it can not be rotated.

Imagine you are looking out a window in the bottom of your ship
the natural way youd orient yourself is your feet towards the rear, your head towards the front
and then you could pilot the ship without much trouble.

The camera block though is putting your feet to the left side of the ship and your head to the right side
and your left arm is pointing out the windshield, which makes moving the ship around horribly awkward.
Seems like a bug?

I know it's because the camera only has the first 6 orientations, needs up/down swapped out for the correct position, though I'd like it to be all 24.
