I Really like to see the outreaches of space from my core and i like to have it on a pedestal. Now whwat if we had a Hardened glass to protect the core? or a thick bullet proof glass type idea.

Thats what plex glass is for, I belive it has the same stats as hardend hull.

Its better to use a cockpit to see where you\'re going, and have the core protected deep inside your ship anyway.

No, I\'m pretty sure it is between hardened and regular hull, unless an update changed it.

Use cockpit to see where your going and bury the core deep into the ship with no entrances. To get in or out, dock a core to the ship, get in and press up arrow or down arrow. that will move you to the core, then to get out, do the same to get back to the core. If there are multiple things docked you may have to cycle through a bit. The same effect can be achieved with build blocks

Bad idea. You\'ll end up disabling a bunch of Turrets/Drones when you do this.

On a fighter with no turrets, it is a fine idea, but otherwise, avoid it.

Why are there no point-to-point transporters?

Would be a lot more fun.

Also AI should re-activate if it got automatically (not manually disabled) and you leave.

I argued with Saber because in his latest video he wished that more people would put cores on the bridge of their ships... and it\'s kind of a bad idea to put it in the open like that...

For those interested this is the stat breakdown of the various \"armor\" and yes plexglass falls in between the two hull

Hull 100 HP 25% Damage Reduction (Effectively 125 HP)

Plexglass 200 HP 33% Damage Reduction (Effectively 266 HP)

Hardened Hull 200 HP 50% Damage Reduction (Effectively 400 HP)

Ah, yes, but you can instantly reactivate them with the structure panel.
