BP system Adjsutment Idea

OKay I am gonna weigh in my two cents on this here with My idea on a way to balance the new BP system and to well Keep credits Viable among other things.


The current system: You upload bp buy BP at shop use and fill the meta item with them from your inventory and spawn ship

What if....You add an option to the meta item where A person could if they are lacking say Some blocks or All Blocks they could click a button to Purchase blocks from Trading guild. Now before you scream here I would also suggest that By Buying with credits from the Trading guild the price would be 3-5 times more than it would be to buy the blocks yourself from random NPC shops thus giving this option a down side and would encourage players to fill as much of the BP themselves before having to resort to Credits to pay for the rest.

3-5 times seems a little bit harsh, I'd say, 50% or so, but you would have to wait until your blocks are delivered.

I would like some more AI cargo transfers and economic systems in place. Think of something like X3/Limit Theory. When you place your BP in your shipyard a demand is made for those parts and the trade guild ships start delivering items from nearby shops on demand. I'd also like to see them trading to generate credits based on manufacturing demand from shield generation factories (for example). Of course, this means that factories would have to be created to make specific parts and demand specific components to make those items and sell them.

Full support for this, I think double price might be enough though. If you were trying to buy a ship, you would make all the main blocks like hull, shields, power, thrusters, weapons etc, but you wouldn't have to mess around with computers, lights, decorative blocks and those yholes in the ship's garden.

This right here would be for the best. I would suggest a wait time for if you purchase a large amount of blocks at one time.
Additionally, it would only make sense to add options in the meta for you to buy the blocks from the shop in the meta item itself.

This cuts down on jumping back and forth between shop screen and meta item screen.

Uh... Did none of you guys read the dev post? Schema specifically stated that doing this spawns in blocks and that he was completely against it.

There was a thread this week about this suggestion from which he stemmed his response.
