Blocks getting damaged randomly

Yesterday I made a medium sized ship with 750 salavage cannons 250 trusters and 500 anti matter cannons but for some reason they started to get damaged randomly while i was building i looked around and didn't see a pirate ship i look in navigation and there isn't a pirate ship nearby so i tried to ignore it but they kept getting damaged and i didn't want to lose all my cannons so i collected all of it quickly

I don't dare to make a ship again afraid that the same is gonna happend. i hope someone can give me an explanation for this

Sun damages your vessel if you go too close.

I had something similar happen when I was in the vacinity of a group of planets. I had just bought a load of turrets at a shop, and was placing them on my ship, when they flew away to adjeacent sectors, and every single turret I found was showing damage to it\'s sheild generators and guns, some even missing blocks. And while I was in this area my ship started showing spots of damage as well.

It seemed that the longer a vessel was unoccupied the worse it got.

My carrier atm been drifting in space for 4 days no, havent experienced random dmg so far.

I see something simular

it started when i flew off a planet where i was stuck for about 3 min. and after i\'ve put things on my ship

so it could be a planet or maybe making you\'re ship larger

perhaps the core itself has mild damage (like when its about to overheat). when this happens, does it cause damage to other blocks on the ship? have you guys had any serious combat recently?

yeah i had some very nasty combat but then i made a new ship and i had that on my new ship not the old ship where i had combat with, however i used the same core maybe that could be a problem too

You really have to be careful with sun damage because there\'s no warning and you can\'t see that you\'re inside a sun (at least until todays update), and you don\'t take damage when drifting outside a ship core, so the only way you can die from it is if your ship core becomes exposed from prolonged damage and the core itself gets destroyed by sun damage. And yes, apparently shops can spawn inside suns. I found a shop inside a sun on my server.

The fact that shops can spawn inside suns made me think cause id didn\'t think i was in a sun because i was at a shop but because of that it made me think and yep... i was inside a sun that\'s very embaresing.

I\'m never flying backwards anymore cause i think thats how i ended up in the sun XD
