When i place blocks they only appear after like 8-20 seconds. It is impossible to build anything big. I had this bug before, but the delay was like 2 seconds. After the latest updates block lag is unbearable!

Local or server? Same on both?

    What are your system specs?

If it only occurs in single player, your computer probably can\'t handle both the server and client aspects of the game. Try repeating this on a multiplayer server. Also that cpu is quite old so it could definately be a bottleneck (same with GPU)

Your CPU is bottlenecking, not RAM. Athlon 64 x2 4200 runs with 2 cores of 2.2GHz. After that next bottleneck is GPU. Starmade doesn\'t use more than 1GB RAM even if you run both server and client on same machine, when it\'s moderately stressed.

My rig is quite okay with i5 2.7 ghz, 4gb ram, and geForce 740M. Im having good fps at around 150 or so but the block lags out during placement and removing.

On my work computer i have the same issues with placing blocks and having the server delay sending back the display of the placment.

I blame it on my router. if i reboot the computer it gets slightly better until the second conection to the server. but if i reboot the router it is good for the entire day.

i have a cheap dlink on this subnet. it was free and a little lag dosent bother me. i usualy only play a little on this connection and dont modify to much due to the fact that im suposed to be working....

the computer is a dell precision T3400 with a radeon 5870. core 2 duo at 2ghz and 4 gb ram. 2 gb ram alocated to starmade.

I have the same block lag as mentioned. My la seems to happen ater I have been flying around for a bit. When I go into build mode and start placing blocks, I then get a 5 to 10 second delay. It even happens when I fly around and start to salvage. I have to restart the game to clear the delay.

    System is i7, 8Gb ram, 580GTX.

I set the memory options to 2048, 1024 and 512 in that order from top to bottom.

    Yep, same issue.

One interesting thing though, this doesn\'t happen on my shitty office PC, I get no delay whatsoever.

However, when I play on my fairly beastly home PC, I get this delay and not even restart/additional memory allocation/core affinity seems to help.

    any suggestions would be welcome.
