As part of the modifications, the hanger bay supports up to 7 Pelicans, with there being additional hangers for shuttles and cargo.
The hull supports any number of turrets, however for those not inclined that way, there's a large arsenal available.

UNSC Pelican
http://benchminecraft.com/starmade/pelican.html
This version of the UNSC pelican encompasses the style and idea of this veteran Halo vehicle, while still staying functional within the Star-Made universe.
It's quick, it's relatively cheap, and supports a number of key features, namely the ability to carry other ships/turrets on the back via it's dock/turret mount.
The hull shape reflects the style of the Pelican, while still supporting a number of weapons. It can land and take off from planets with ease, and can take on most pirates.

Serenity (Firefly)
http://benchminecraft.com/starmade/serenity.html
Based off the ship with the same name from the series Firefly, Serenity is a larger version built for the Starmade universe.
Serenity comes with a number of recognisable features, from its dining area, crew quarters and bridge, to its recognisable glowing aft section. It also can have Serenity Shuttles docked on either side.
This adaptation has been modified for the Starmade universe. The infirmary and guest quarters have been removed. There's also empty sections in the hull for more customization. This ship was the Winner of Ambushed Gamer's Inaugural Ship of the Week Comp.

Serenity Shuttle
http://benchminecraft.com/starmade/serenityshuttle.html
The Serenity Shuttle is based off the shuttles of the ship Serenity from the series Firefly.
It features a front cockpit and a back main area, spacious enough to be made into any particular use as needed, but small enough to travel to and from planets with relevant ease.
The bottom of the shuttle is kept flat for ease of docking, and the outer wings have been modified to remain short due to the lack of any retraction method.

Lancer
http://benchminecraft.com/starmade/lancer.html
The Lancer was a quick build one night playing around with the idea of using prongs, extending out from the bridge, for power and weapons.
Playing around with angles the Lancer features additional missle barrages and shield generators in it's extruding sections.
Players can remove the outer pods containing missles to reduce weight and surface area. Out of the three ships I built that night this one looks the best.
Mass : 210.3
Length : 47m, Height : 9m, Width : 30m
Power : 20,000 (42,642.5 e/sec)
Thrust : 230.5

Dacorum
http://benchminecraft.com/starmade/dacorum.html
A Merchant ship, the Dacorum features a unique interior designed to enable the crew to trade with outside players via trade rooms.
This ship should always be used with an active faction module. With large cargo holds, private hanger and separate decks for the crew, it is perfect for any merchant.
It's cheap, it's nasty, but it'll get you from point A to B and in one piece.
