Are the Amber Fates and Dawns just the same ship retextured?

The Amber Dawn has the whole surface retextured with reinforced hull, the main hangers replaced with an additional cannon (I use this cannon for Pirate bases as it can take down all the turrets + the faction module for the base itself in a matter of seconds) and dual missles (when planets get in the way), removal of the supply ship hangers, extension of the wings on the edges of the engines, modification of the size of the engines, a complete reworking of all the turrets, increased shields and thrusters, salvage lasers and improved power generation. Basically I reworked the Dawn into one that held a bit more of a chance against the Fate

yeah it\'s a great ship, the server I play on at the moment though doesn\'t allow catalog ships though so unfortunately I havent had a chance to fly it in a while.
