So, i have been building on my own BC-304 from Stargate and she is somewhere along half finished.
She accelerates pretty quickly to top speed and have a pretty good shield for her size (I think, is it? I have no idea.)

What kind of weapons should i get for her? What do you experts here think is good while nice looking at the same time for a ship like her? I thought of putting some strong manually targetting missiles in her cargo bays on side of the hangar bays, perhaps with some turrets on her aswell.

She have a complement of 2-4 puddle jumpers (heavy fighters/bombers) in the hangars.

Input would be nice to her how i should proceed with her future and how she looks to you at the moment stat wise.

As for which direction to take the ship with, I have three points that you probably don't want to hear.
First thought is that a few people built one of these a while back, and the 304 is actually about 3x the listed size. Those fighter pods in the back are the length of an entire aircraft carrier, and whoever wrote the official stats assumed the overall length was the length of an aircraft carrier.

Next point, there's a ton of exterior detailing missing. The missile doors, the wings at the front, all the paneling, the bridge, and plenty of antenna in the front. That's just the start of the list. Detailing will probably take at least 90% or more of the time taken to build a ship, unless you spend a lot of time on logic.

Third point, the 304 is the worst ship to start your forum career with. This is not because of the difficulty, but because we already had some expert builders come along and nail the Odyssey as best as could be done in game. Everyone else will compare your ship to it, so....

So, if you want to cruise around a server in a 304, go ahead and finish it. If you want to show it off us on the forums....

As for stats I really can't help you as I don't know what the server environment is like for that. If you want to be accurate to the show for weapons then use vertical Missile-beam and Beam-explosive for the onboard weapons and have a ton of tiny turrets with Cannon-cannon

Hello! and thank you for taking your time to answer me. :D
It seems like i missed out on a lot of important info about it, let me clarify it then.

    1. Seeing that both my Stargate SG-1 DVD collection 62 and Stargate Atlantis DVD collection 70 put the ship at around the size i built it i naturally assume that is closer to the official specs then some random person off the internet, wouldnt you agree that makes more sense? :p

    2. Like i said in my first post the ship in its current state is only half finished, i wanted some input from other Starmade people on how a good weapon setup for a ship of its size would be.

    3. I didnt come here to start a "forum career", i just came here with the intent of sharing my build and asking for input from some experiences players. :)

As for the enviroment it will be cruising along in a private server me and 2 friends have, one of them in a SR-2 from Mass Effect and the other in a custom ship that have a very weird look with alot of forward firepower and hardly any shields/maneuvability for its size (really it can knock a pirate station out in 1 hit!). So at most it will face the standard pirates in the game and perhaps some custom ships we will give them.

    Hope that gives more clarity!

Okay then, keep going. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh.

    I lol'd, 6ever.

But seriously, listen to Itmauve, maybe perfect your building skills on some smaller ships.
