Background music

This game seems eerie in the sense that all you hear is the whir of the engines or the ambience of spacewalking. Some background music would help a lot. Perhaps a different song for every planet and have a few space songs. Not sing songs just an orchestra or synthesizer type stuff.

in my opinion the middle section of this song is too \"active\", I\'d like to hear something that would make you feel the immersion of the distant space and still fear the unknown, little background melody mixed with atmosphere

It\'s a new one I\'m working on, with emphasis on ambience (thought still a little bit of flavor present).

Of course, it will be much longer than this, this is just a base concept.

I think it would a great idea to have bakground music, maybe something similar to FTL\'s music? (http://benprunty.bandcamp.com/album/ftl) It could be possible to contact Ben Prunty and ask about the music, because we obviously can\'t use the same music that is used in FTL. I always play this music in the background while playing StarMade, and I love it.

if he desides to put misic in and/or make it optinual thing then id suport it and if ne needs music i play th gutar and have some music i made that might work for starmade space its cinda moody but it will make it feel like space and i can make a difent sound track for when the game renders a red marker it can change to a more dermatic fighing still music i have that i will be happy to donate as for planits i dont have enything for that
