Here ye, here ye! On da eve of teh 41st mileninum...wait scratch that. At the end of the first quarter of the Atharian year 3025, a decree was announced to visibly hold a propaganda thread about the Atharian Sovereignty so that all the citizens of the vast multiverse can witness its splendor.

this post shall serve as the first post of a hopefully weekly article, dedicated to the Atharian Sovereignty and our glorious leader. By order of the Lord Sovereign himself, the only two officials allowed to post our media is myself (Zilvs) and the Lord Sovereign himself. Now, the moment you have all been waiting for, the delicious news update on the state of the Sovereignty.

First Quarter, 3025:

The Atharian Sovereignty has attempted to re-establish itself on the wolfpack server, quickly growing in size and power, the natives took notice to the power growing in the galactic south. No attempts were made of diplomacy, instead a few minor groups entered a series of skirmishes with the Atharian Sovereignty, unable to withstand our superior numbers and technology, they made the wise choice of ceasing hostilities, their timely surrender was met by mercy of the Lord Sovereign, their lives were spared and no reparations were enforced.

Shortly after this, the R&D department made groundbreaking finds that have since altered the Atharian naval doctrine. It was miraculously timed along side the development of new ship hulls to enter the experimental phase. These new vessels were blessed by luck even further to see prime testing opportunities on wolfpack when an allied faction was having trouble dealing with traitors. With joint operation efforts and the power of the Lord Sovereign himself, all issues were quickly diminished.
Having a chance now for a much needed break, the Lord Sovereign graced his subjects with vacation time, many Atharians went on to work on more personal matters during this time.

One particular commander, BoomMicGuy remained active on the server in an attempt to further solidify an Atharian presence on the server. An attempt was made to recruit an individual who joined the server but neglected the friendly hand of peace extended to him. Instead he established a base within an Atharian controlled system and began to carry out acts of war.

BoomMicGuy took swift action against the individual and war was declared, and a short war it was. The individual stood no chance against an Atharian Commander and quickly defeated. With another victory claimed for Atharia, our glory shined even brighter.

Zilvs could you please include a disclaimer or spoiler tag somewhere to state that 2018 or 2017=3025 as according to your lore. Most factions tend to add a round number to their dates or keep default (e.g. actual 2018 = 2318 Trident Timeline = 3018 OOB Timeline).

I forget exactly how we translate years. All that I can remember is that one actual year is 4 Atharian years. 2018=3025. When I figure it out again I will touch up on it more.

Because I find it to be amusing, as well as having the benefit of people apparently getting annoyed at our existence. Also I like rp posting, and propaganda art because its pretty gr8 m8.

Well its been a while...
mostly due to laziness but I'm ready to hop back into this thread.

For today, I'm going to share with you all some lore information about the Sovereignty. Our empire as it is today was reorganized in the Atharian Year of 3019.

Spoiler: An Atharian Year is 1/4 of an actual year.

In 3019, that is translated into September of 2016. Our year is also specified by AY, Atharian Year.

This was followed by several years of planning and organizing. We never made real attempts with conquest or diplomacy until 3022 AY. This information is accurate and not altered for propaganda.

And now the fun part...
The Atharian Sovereignty is led by the glorious Lord Sovereign, a being of immense power from a different multiverse. It is believed that the translation of his presence is partially what allows for his powers. Our best scientists hypothesize that the laws of his universe are different, so while he still obeys his he is not chained to ours like everything that exists naturally here.

With these powers, he quickly united the inhabitants of his immediate location underneath his supreme order. These beings made up the first of the loyal followers that will soon become the Atharian Empire. Appearing as a god to these people, they followed him without fault. A massive crusade across the galaxy was soon launched to unite every being under the Atharian Banner. Do not be mistaken, this was not to be a bloody conflict. Where fighting could be avoided it was. When the Lord Sovereign discovered a new species he appeared as a godlike being, but not all life recognizes gods. A rule was followed to give the species a chance to unite in harmony with Atharia. If they accepted then they were happily admitted into the empire

If they refused, then a campaign of annihilation was launched. Those who refused the Lord Sovereigns charity and stood in his way were to be destroyed. Regrettably, entire species have been lost this way but our Lord is a wise one. If they prove to be valiant warriors and slow the unstoppable tide of our naval power, they are offered another chance to end the conflict and join Atharia. If they surrender, then they are re-educated into those who are loyal to the Lord Sovereign. If they refuse then the conflict rages until they are removed from life, with a tear of sadness shed by our Lord with every species extinction.

The Atharian Empire continued its expansion like this for roughly 2,500 Atharian Years until the empire was at a point where reorganization was required to avoid collapse. Many species now made up the population of the empire and a massive chunk of the galaxy was under Atharian Control. In 2507 AY, the Atharian Empire became the Atharian Sovereignty, the empire now refers to the galaxy of the Lord Sovereigns appearance while all of Atharia makes up the Sovereignty. Expansion efforts in the empire were redoubled and in a few short years a rival empire was discovered, Drurenth. Intel reports that they are led by a similar being. One who may be from the same place as the Lord Sovereign himself. A bitter war of attrition has raged for the last 500 years. Expansion in other fronts is stronger but Drurenth is the mightiest foe the empire has fought.
