    1) Mask astronaut signature on radar/main screen when the astronaut is under gravity/aligned to a ship or structure. Remain visible to allies. Scanner ping will reveal all astronaut signatures in range for 10 seconds or so. This will help increase sneaky shenanigans and increase player survivability when being hunted by someone bigger and badder. Also would be necessary for suggestion 2:

    2) Astronauts no longer enter the core. They will be locked on the axis they were at when they activated the core to pilot the ship, making them vulnerable. Target indicators centered on the core will have to go away (which is a good thing anyways). This will help make grappling/raiding ships a thing instead of players hiding in their shield protected boxes.

    I like it. Would bring more astronaut vs. astronaut and ship raiding.

    Yes, we need both of these. Not to mention auxiliary core access consoles so that I can fly the ship from places other than the core.

    But yes, these are features that must necessarily be included in the final game for it to be much good.
