BREAKING: Local Man Causes Interstellar Military Crisis Due to Autism

At 11:00PM EST, local man Comr4de stumbled into Garden of the Sun controlled territory with the intention to "trade for armour hardeners". His presence with his "friendly escort" of a full Arstotzkan Expeditionary Battlegroup caused a strangely tense response from GotS officials. With the support of no less than four cruiser sized Arstotzkan warships, he warped to GotS homebase to "negotiate a trade deal". Upon realising that they had brought a mere 17,000cR and GotS did not indeed have armour hardeners, Comr4de and his "friendly escort" warped out with the cry of "ok bye".

OPERATION: Maginot

Operation Maginot, otherwise known as the First Battle of Caris, concluded yesterday with an Arstotzkan Federation victory. Trinova Technologies and the Order of Bogatyrs deployed to the strategically valuable Caris system in force intent on seizing the chokepoint. Arstotzkan Battlegroup 588 "Nachthexen", under the personal command of the Emperor himself, counter-deployed with a fleet of support ships and numerous heavy assets.

After initial reconnaissance, OPFOR and Battlegroup 588 engaged in the shadow of the yellow supergiant. The fighting was fierce, and Bogatyr drone fleets soon clogged the combat zone, forcing numerous tactical micro-jumps. A TNT and OOB Rockhopper were armor damaged, but at the loss of Boroski's Wolfgang and Inquis's corvette. Soon after, a Palmyra fell to overwhelming enemy fire before assistance could arrive. ADF Guskar, the fleet flagship, was ambushed by TNT forces and began taking heavy damage. The Battlegroup scrambled to their leader's aid, and despite vicious efforts the ship had already taken too much damage. Comr4de made the decision to scuttle the ship.

In an act of enormous stupidity intrepid heroism, he plotted course for the yellow supergiant, luring the TNT heavy assets with him. Almost immediately they fell prey to the solar radiation of the star. Just as the formidable bulkheads of the venerable flagship began to crumble, Comr4de was able to trigger the jump drive, escaping certain death. The improvised trap had succeeded, allowing the Arstotzkan fleet to regroup, reorganise and carry out hasty repairs.

ADF Graf Zeppelin, under the command of Zyrr, was assigned temporary fleet flagship, and carried out a series of skirmish actions to allow time for support ships to arrive. Strength momentarily regained, Battlegroup 588 re-engaged, forcing both TNT and OOB forces to retreat from the system.

Friendly losses: 1x Palmyra, 1x Wolfgang, 1x Udalloy, support ships
Enemy losses: 1x TNT Rockhopper overheated, 3x Rockhoppers moderately to severely damaged, 1x OOB Rockhopper overheated, 2x OOB cruisers damaged, numerous drones

God Emperor Comr4de has been awarded the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Caris Class, Comr4de Edition for obvious reasons. Blaza612 and Boroski (rip duke unban) have been awarded the Iron Cross, Caris Class for gallantry in the face of overwhelming odds. Inquis has been awarded the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Caris Class for bravery above and beyond the call of duty for numerous OPFOR pilot kills and the fact that he deployed in a corvette.
