I got a bit tired from making long ships so i tried to build some that are shorter and wider and this is what i came up with:

First of is a black and yellow fighter:

Mass:356.2
Lenght:30m Height:13m Width:37m
Power: 20 000 (35 380.7 e/sec)
Thrust:736.4
Shields:71 996 (3246 s/sec)

Next is a cruiser with the same design and colour scheme:

Stats are not available because it is still mostly a shell.

Now for the second design. These ships are mainly black with white armor plates:

Fighter:

Mass:263
Lenght:33m Height:15m Width:25m
Power:20 000 (14 457.7 e/sec)
Thrust:543.4
Shields:41 505 (2 147 s/sec)

Cruiser:

Mass:3 988.5
Lenght:108m Height:29m Width:79m
Power:86 289.8 (324 901.8 e/sec)
Thrust:4955.3
Shields:415 883 (12 095 s/sec)

Very nice Argo! I quite like the yellow/black ships, and they somehow remind me of MrVecs VFW lineup.

I like them a lot. The designs are quite nice.

My personal problem with making cool looking small ships is that the hull to mass ratio on these vessels makes them less combat effective. That is why my ships tend to have round shapes, especially small ones.

Just a thought that I had just now. Would it not be cool if we could upload fleets like blueprints now? With descriptions and information if they are friendly, neutral or pirates. Then server admins could just turn on the fleets they liked and we had npc wars :D

Those yellow ships are amazing. I especially like the Cruiser. Watch out though Marcus might want to use emm in his Deathwing Fleet :p

Brilliant ships! The engine design is incredible. Your hull design is defiantly something different than a lot of other ships here, but that's a good thing. Keep it up.

Settled on the black and white ships for now and started making a battleship (may be called something different when finished).

Stats at the moment are:

DPS:105 421.2 (sustained)

Added 32 10/5/5 sd-bb missiles and some more details.

Update:

Modified almost the whole exterior on the figher and some of the stats have changed a bit so here are the new ones:

Mass:232.8
Lenght:31m Height:15m Width:25m
Power:20 000 (15 584.3 e/sec)
Thrust:543.4
Shields:41 205 (2 136 s/sec)

Changed some of the plating on the cruiser too so here are some pictures to compare:

Also the mass is now 3 758.9 which is 229.6 less than before.

looks good. By the way in the options you can set the field of view from 30 to 110 degree. I found that you can make cool looking pictures with this.
