    Welcome to Aperture Laboratories.

    Welcome to the offical personal recruitment and data center for this multiversal sector of Aperture. This division of Aperture is dedicated to researching physical rules to devise what universes within the galactical multiverse are suitable for colonising, and converting to new premise for Aperture.

    Although we mainly are searching for disposible test subjects, we are currently are low on staff in this sector of the multiverse, we have noted the significant advances in technology and the pace of what it continues, along with the expodentialy expanded elemental spectrum, and so wish to recruit some of the best and brightest of this sectors scientists, pilots, engineers, and levitating cats capable of black magic.

    Background:

    Aperture is one of THE largest and most powerful research based factions in the multiverse, based mainly around ship technology development, and colonisation, along with biological modifcation, and floating cat technology. We are very passive to the most other factions, unless they act threatening or in a manner that indangers research or projects. as such, the fleet mainly consists of large civilian ships, experimental technology ships, and a large defence sector, containing a division of only 4 classified offensive ships. Once Aperture have gained significant power in this multiversal sector, we will begin to terraform and colonise planets for the expansion of testing facilities.



    History:

    1940 - Aperture is founded as 'Aperture Fixtures'

    1944 - Aperture Fixtures becomes Aperture Science Innovators.

    1947 - Cavee Johnson purhases a large abandoned salt mine. The Aperture Science Enrichment Center is later based in this site.

    1950s - Research is carried out on the best of the best, including Olympians, astronauts and war hereos.

    1970s - Aperture becomes finantialy unstable, testing continues on vagrants.

    1980s - Grants Allow expansion into new premise.

    1992 - Cavee Johnson dies. Personality construct later recovered from first experimental AI system.

    2009 - First design testing of Perpetual Testing Initiative. Complete failure. Multiversal wormhole colapses destroying the newly funded premise. Research continues in orignal location, PTI is put on halt until further research is conducted.

    2020 - PTI reinitiated.

    2022 - Second design testing of PTI. Sucsess. Initial designs of first ship to cross the barrier are started.

    2025 - Barrier is crossed, two way transportation is established.

    2030 - Multiversal exploration begins along side the PTI

    2031 - Cavee Johnson's personality construct is completely restored, it is placed incharge of the new initiatives, at this point the original Wormhole colapses on earth, destroying the branch of facility dedicated to this research, conection with earth is lost.



    Clearance:

    CL1: New recruit, Un-background checked. Access to unarmed ships, access to non-toxic materials.

    CL2: Background checked personal, access to Apertures communication frequencys, autherised for armed ships and low toxicity materials.

    CL3: Background checked personal who have been in service for a while, access to advanced details about Aperture that would cause little or no effect if released. Access to high toxicity materials.

    CL4: Background checked trusted personal, Access to low risk classified documents.

    CL5: Heads of departments, Access to high risk classified documents, Detailed blueprints and schematics of all ships except the Capital.

    CL6: Senior commanders, Access to everything except the CEOs private documents.

    CL7: Founders clearance. Bypasses and over-rules all other clearance levels. Unobtainable.

    As we expand into new sectors, larger threats arise, so we need constant developments in sheild technology and new reactors to provide the power, this is also where the currently active ships are repaired and new models are constructed, replicated, and deployed.

    Scientific Research

    Scientific research is where we excel, studying diferent multiversal sectors physical boundrys and biological diversity, and then testing the data to create new technologies. This is where the majority of job spaces are open.

    Defence

    The defensive sector is dedicated to all armed vessles, mainly centered around defending scientific expoditions into multiversal sectors where the local natives pose a live threat, this sector also covers offensive expoditions, as they generaly are strikes to prevent further attack. The people who apply for jobs in the defensive sector must be background checked before being assigned to a ship with live weapons.

    Advanced version of the most basic fighter, suffers from power issues, but is still mainly used for most defensive and some small assistance, they are occasionaly refited as salvage ships but their small cockpit and lack of cargo holds means that they are not ideal.

    A large ship outfited for carrying up to 2200 very small fighters, the main ship lacks firepower, being equiped with either 2 large high power AMC batterys or 6 Medium, The ship is designed to take a large amount of damage with over 1 million shields and completely hardened exterior and interiors.

    Another large ship ship, outfitted for use as a transport vessel, our latest ship, it utilizes new engine and weapons technology, the weapons are contained in a liquid core located at the front of the ship and are used for defensive procedures, the new technology proved extremely good when it comes to defending large ships, but lacks the frigate destroying punch of other systems, while the engines provide an unrivaled speed and acceleration for a ship of it's size.

    We are pleased to announce that we are currently constructing a new dry dock!

    Not only is the station a dry dock, it also features living quarters, including a cafeteria and rooms outfitted to the highest standard, to keep our engineers happy and full of energy. The station also has biospheres, full of edible plants and food producing trees and bushes, meaning it should be totaly self sufficient, along side this there will be two smaller work shops, for quick and easy manufacturing of turrets, pods, and drones. Finally there will be a small command center to manage all local ship activity! We believe that this station will significantly increase the speed of the production of our fleet, meaning we will be able to start the colonization and terraforming of nearby planets soon!

    would consider joining you guys up but im not sure my faction rules allow me to be in 2 factions and im not gonna abandon under any circumstances, sorry :) the ship fits with the aperture science/portal theme!

    Dear aperture,

    Considering your public relations its pretty strange that you consider anyone breaking the laws of physics to be your enemy. Aperture laboratories is known for bending the laws of physics to the border and I think this means you have to consider yourselves to be the enemy.

    You have to counter in that, unlike most who fare in this multiversial sector, we most definitely are professionally trained scientists, whereas our stance is that people who either:

    A) Brake the bounds without understanding what they are doing.

    or

    B) Break the bounds with the expressed purpose of nefarious activitys

    or

    C) Break the bounds to develop similar technologys to our own to damage and or destroy our systems

    - are a threat however i did notice i forgot to note that other passive scientists such as ourselfs who pose no rivalry and/or nefarious intentions towards ourselfs will be allowed to experiment with dangerous and potentially universaly unstabilising mechanics along side ourselfs.

    I don’t think I am better than the other applicants in all ways but maybe in some areas. I have been playing starmade for 3-4 months now. I have built countless fighters and a couple capitol ships. My ships are built for use and are usually not pretty (exceptions with fighters). I also love piloting. I have never lost a battle in all the time I have played starmade. I think I could be very valuable in the engineering section as that is what I like to do best.

    I am happy to accept any role you will give me. If you want I could prove myself and my combat abilities. If I am accepted into this faction I will release all of my creations to any member of this faction provided they ask.

    I am also very interested in what research you have going on there. If asked I shall go on a possible suicide mission if it will benefit the faction. I will work for free no blocks or credits necessary, though I may need credits to spawn in some of my ships.

    If you are interested I would like to be able to build some mechs as I am very talented in that area, If I get accepted of course. Most of my mechs will easily fit in the standard docking area.

    I suppose, how do you feel about working as an engineer most of the time but piloting as a fighter in times of need? If thats ok with you then give me a should and i will clear you.

    Interesting concept here. However your feet coulduse some fleshing out. I have a friend who would e interested in doing it for you. He owns a ship building corp you hire them they build it for you.
