Any way to rotate a core?

Yeah... I made my ship backwards...

Any way to flip the core, maybe by editing the core's orientation in the ship files or something? I can't get SMedit to work, and I don't especially want to flip my ship around manually.

Really I'd like to see an in-game feature whereby the core can be rotated and even moved.

No. Copy/paste rotation is in the works, so if patience is an option for you, you can wait for that and then use it to rebuild your ship more easily.
