Ok so, I dont know if this is just for turrets, but I was just designing a turret and the antimatter beams came out of the wrong face of the Antimatter cannons, but the orientation of the block was correct. I then tried to make the face the lasers were coming out of face forward, but the beams still shot out the bottom of the turret. Is there a fix for this?

    I don\'t think this is a bug.

All types of beams (not just antimatter, but repair and salvage too) always point towards the front of the ship/turret (and the way the block faces is only for graphics/aethstetic purposes). For turrets with AI, the AI makes the turret\'s front face the enemy, so if beams didn\'t come out the front they\'d always miss.

Get out of the ship, and press \"R\" on the block you want to set as the output block

Are the lasers shooting out of the wrong holes or are they shooting in the wrong direction?

You need to keep in mind that lasers will always shoot in the direction your Core block is facing. That means you will need to adapt your design to suit the game physics. They cannot shoot out of the top, bottom, left or right. They can only shoot in the direction the turret is facing.

Think of it like a tank turret - you may be trying to force the guns to shoot out of the top of the turret which is ridiculous because they can only shoot out of the barrel at the front.

If your problem was that the lasers didn\'t align with the holes you wanted them to shoot from, all you need to do is to get our of the core, fly around the front of your turret and press R on the blocks you want to be your laser beams.

If you connect the blocks together, they will merge and become one laser. The AC blocks cannot be placed adjacent to each other if you want separate lasers.

You will always need to set the outputs manually, since the computer sets random blocks for this. I think they are the first amc blocks placed but im not too sure about that. Eitherway, you need to set your outputs manually ^^

Actually you can shot in different directions now, it depends on the rotation of the weapon computer now

Isn\'t that only true depending on if you were in the weapons computer to start with?

Nope, after the last update (or the one before that) you can enter your core and shoot sideways, it now really matters where your weapons computer faces, though it doesn\'t seem to work when you zoomed out and you can\'t really aim this way, but thats just try and error.
