Andromeda Capital Ship (cancelled)

Due to upcoming updates and major tweaks to game mechanics such as weapons systems and economy, I have decided to stop progress on my second capital ship for now, the Andromeda.

I only somewhat finished the first front half of the hull, already nearing 60mil, by itself. Also, in figure 2, you can see how the new white hull tainted the aesthetic color choice, unfortunately.

Estimated specs (if finished)

- ~1.2km Long

- ~200m wide

- ~500m tall



- ~20mil DPS

- ~10mil shield regen

- ~400mil power regen



Main compenents left to finish

- Rest of hull

- AMC/BB/KB systems

- Turrets - top/bottom

- Bridges - top/bottom

- Power, shields, thrust compenents



Anyway, Andromeda is scrapped for now, and I probably won't make another large project until the game mechanics are more stable and reliable. Just can't finish a large project to see that the next day it won't work, you know?

Almost all of the mechanics of the game, weapons, energy, and shields specifically, will without a doubt change in the future. Most of it is actually broken right now with the current calculations.

What\'s wrong with building the shell even if systems are getting changes? Systems are going to change right up to official final release. You can not play/build at all, or adapt to the changes as they come.
