    A block with schemas avatar on one face.
    Could also display avatars from other staff members on other sides of it.

    Used for decoration and maybe spawns a little cat(once creatures are implemented) which guides you through the tutorial.

    It could also display the persons you are communicating with (chat).
    rear = person 0
    right = person 1
    front = person 2
    left = person 3
    top = person 4
    bot = person 5

    rotate more blocks differently to see different chat participants. It could use the forum avatar.

    This would be something nice to have later in the game when there are more people on servers. (And more people in general).

    WHY IS THIS NOT IN GAME ALREADY?

    Okay the tutorial would be far better if there was a creature giving it to you. (But also players may find it annoying and try to shoot it.

    A Schema block would be similar to the Nyancat in Minetest. It's rare to find one, but it's a fun thing to find.

    Functionality? Pure decoration doesn't seem like enough. The effect, whatever it may be should probably be a reference to some gameplay element from the early days of the project, as both a tribute to his effort and a reminder of how far the game has come. Maybe an overpowered destruction block that when damaged or destroyed, will cause whatever structure or planet it touches or is near to simply disappear without particle or explosion effects.

    People would ask "what just happened" when their surroundings disappear, and experienced players would explain that simply disappearing is how ships would "blow up" in the old days.

    Well I hope the new HP/overheat system would have a variety of parameters. The schemablock could probably put the ship into a "classic" style overheat, with no particle effects, no explosion damage, and only one "explosion".

    Y'know, this would make a fab April Fool's addition. You'd place it, activate it via Logic and it plays 'where the hood at' by DMX with multiple Schema cats dancing to it.
