Yeah in small numbers 1x1 is just sick... it falls short in larger ships because the range and speed is quite lacking.
AMCs need a good damage nerf all around though.
I think all weapons need an overhaul though, there is no reason that larger should be more damage, range, speed and recharge.
I dunno what the best way to do it but it seems like there needs to be some kind of sliders in place, so you can either have damage or recharge, not both. Instead of big damage but slow firing projectiles we have super fast super firing high damage ones.
Hull needs to protect against AMC as well, either from having 90+ armor, or having AMCs do less damage to hull and be meant for shields only.
Missiles need to not be able to damage blocks behind other ones, right now even if the missile doesn\'t destroy your hardened hull outside, it will still do full damage (but still reduced by the radius falloff) to the inside of the ship... which makes 0 sense.
Hull has no purpose at this time, other than asthetics. It needs to provide a worthwhile defense otherwise its much better to just surround your ship in shields vs hull... since both die just as fast but the shield can at least provide some more damage reduction up front.
