Advanced Build Mode Invisible Orientation Preview

I have recently patched my game and found that when constructing my ship, in the advanced build mode (Left control) I cannot see the preview anymore for the wedge orientation. It still rotates the blocks, but does not show a preview of them anymore. It has been this way since patch 0.09382. I am currently using the free Alpha launcher with the latest patch installed (Patched 9th August).
