Adding up disconnected power blocks -- oddity?

I looked up the formula on the wiki and when I build a single three-pointed star it works out exactly. I expected that multiple disconnected segments would contribute additively to power regeneration, but it seems this is not quite true. If you build a three-pointed star with arms of length 33 (100 blocks total), the total power generated is 48,959.4 as predicted by the formula on the wiki. However, if you then build a disconnected copy the total power increases to 97,718.7, which means it only increased by 48,759.3. What happened to the extra 200.1 e/sec? Or am I completely wrong about how disconnected power blocks combine?

It\'s rather hard to picture what you mean by a disconnected three point star. Add some screenshots, then we can help you better.

That is what I mean by a three-pointed star of length 2. If you extend the three arms so that they all have length 33 (using 100 blocks total including the one in the center), you get 48,959.4 e/sec which is exactly what the wiki\'s formula predicts. If you build a copy of that object and put it somewhere else on the ship so that the two copies are not touching, you don\'t get another 48,959.4 e/sec. Instead, you get 200.1 e/sec less than that.

Its probally just a bug but its worth looking into

Diminishing returns probably, the more you build the less you get. I\'ve seen people talk about a 1mil regeneration soft cap where it gets more difficult to generate power.
