dev why not add an update so you can keep everything when you go to a different sever cuz its kind of annoying to resart over and you don't have anything you want.

That is a very bad idea. That means that I can go on a creative server, get tons of blocks and/or credits, then go on a hardcore survival server, built (or load in, whatever) a 5million block ship and pwn everyone, even those who worked towards their ships, stations and infrastructure in general for months in a matter of minutes.

No, just hell no. Do you even realise how this could be exploited? Deal with it, maybe if you ask the mods of the server nicely they might let you have something more, but most likely they won't.

Fisrt of all that not what meant second what i mean is to get it free , you have to build it yourself to have to own and to get it free, and my other idea about have everything you have from one sever to another is cuz i can't get any of my ship out of multiplayer and bring into signal player.

The idea has been passed around to allow one server to connect to others via a warp-gate like dealie. This would allow two identically configured servers and their universes to be linked. Logging into your home on Server A while your character is in Server B will just forward you to Server B. If Server B went down it should have pushed the character data back to the home server meaning you can log back in without losses. The issue there is keeping all the data synced. Especially when it come to factions.

Now if you just want to leave a server, like forever; I don't know many admins who'll take the time to pull your data out of the database and even fewer who would willingly force their database to take on data from another server. That's just asking for trouble. As there is no protocol for making such a transition easy. So you'll likely get a "no". Starting over might not be easy but it beats being stuck on a server you don't like.

    Quick and dirty method:
    Old Server:
    1. Put ALL your stuff in a station plexbox.
    2. Dock ALL your ships to the station as well.
    3. Exchange (all or most of) your credits for blocks you can easily resell.
    4. Defaction EVERYTHING.
    5. Request a sector export.
    6. Thank the admin.
    7. Keep a copy of your sector export to send to your new home.
    New server:
    1. Request a sector import.
    2. When asked, send the admin your exported sector.
    3. Be online with the admin when they import it in.
    4. Refaction your station.
    5. Thank the admin.
    6. Welcome to your new server.

Ir's time consuming and a real bother for both admins (who'd probably rather actually play the game themselves). It's not guaranteed to work at all - even if attempted. But you can try asking. Keep in mind just because it's "possible" doesn't mean it should be done. The new server's admin is showing a lot of trust giving you your stuff back. No admin is obligated to take such a risk. Don't betray that trust. You won't get it back.

Remove servers? Servers are started up by players who want to host a server, Schine has no control over that at all. Each server has a little something that makes them different (timezones, location, rulleset, config), which is good cause this is a sandbox which welcomes all kinds of playstyles to all kinds of people.

You can sort by playercount if you want a populated server, some of the more high-profile servers normally have a few players on at all times.

And yeah, that OP is really exploitable, since the best way to carry data with you, server to server, is to save it client-side, which opens up all kinds of hacks and exploits (ignoring Build server exploits). Besides, if you let everyone transfer their stuff freely, I would think server populations would decrease as factions spread across every server.

One does not simply 'remove servers'. It's been pointed out they are all independently owned and operated. It's up to the user (thatsa YOU) to make an informed decision on the server they join. There's usually links in the description to the server's webpage or forum. Good place to start. And you can always login and poke around for a little bit.
One tell-tale sign is the spawn shop. Was it removed? Prolly a hardcore server. Is it all free stuff and no limits? Prolly a build server. Have you not seen the shop because people keep killing you? PvP maybe. Is the spawn shop big and ornate and really colorful? RP. That's an RP server for sure.
You may come across the rare an endangered 'testing' server. These long thought dead servers use the latest release with near vanilla configurations. They play like SP mode but you don't have admin. Not hardcore, not Build, and usually not PvP or RP. These servers are a mix and mysteriously operate under the shadowy pretense of 'being just a regular server' but have a dark secret behind them.
Or maybe the guy configuring it is just lazy.
    But maybe not.
