Recognized Ability to Rename Blocks for Hotbar use

I like that I can rename the Inner Ship Remote, so I will know which ISR does what. However, I think it might be beneficial to be able to do this with any Computer or Block that shows up in the hotbar. An example, I've created a Docking Arm/Port system for all my ships sized Frigate and up, and I want to have them on both sides of the ship. This means having two Rail Dockers, but I won't know which one is which until I position the camera precisely, and fire one. Then, I make sure to place them in the correct orientation on the hotbar, but it would be nice to be able to rename before hand. Some of my ships will also have weapon systems fixed in certain directions for broadsides, so again, being able to label the weapon computers based on their location would be extremely useful.

I apologize if this has been suggested before, I've done a search and manually browsed a dozen or so pages, and couldn't find a similar suggestion.

Hoping this gets implemented asap. Came to suggest this and found it already well thought out, stated, and seemingly fully endorsed.
