    Ability modules could be bought from the store and a maximum of three could be installed, whether that be one super ability or 3 small ones these would be active abilities that could add new dynamics with cooldowns.

    Some examples I came up with to demonstrate the concept

    Armistice: temporarily makes all nearby ships agree to a cease fire

    Civilian rights: If your ship has no weapons you can use this for a short burst of invulnerablility, great to not get destroyed as a small mining ship.

    dodge: Upon activating you teleport 100m in a random direction

    noise: your shield creates a large cloud to hide you.

    Perhaps stuff like this could be available in a mod later on. I don\'t see how this fits in with the sci-fi theme of the vanilla game.
