A way to travel faster in space without a ship

Currently when you are floating in space without a ship you move soooooooo slowly it's extremely annoying. I guess it makes sense in a way but I suggest that the player should be able to at least build some kind of item like a jetpack so that he can move faster while floating in space without a ship.

I would hope early game, so that players who, for instance, get their only core destroyed can maneuver to a ship.
