A large turret

So I've been screwing around in single-player, building a station around a store...

I'm far too lazy to salvage all the stuff I'd need for this, so admin commands it is.



Figured it would be good to put defenses on it, so I built a very large turret (and I plan to buy more copies of it from the catalog.

I'm not sure, but with the size of my turret mounts I might be able to fit an even larger turret on them...

Also, those engines on the rear of the turret are just for moving it around, it has no integral engines. Or, for that matter, enough power to fire the guns.

The turret look awesome, I also had an idea about large turrets but with smaller turrets attached to them so they would fire where the larger one couldn\'t aim. But when I tried all I got was that I couldn\'t dock ships or turrets that had something docked on to them already, in other words, no chain docking (Yet). So it was a bummer when I saw that. But it looks cool.

Note the access panel (there is also one in the station hull directly below it) so that I can enter the turret to manually fire if I wish to.

Put some smaller turrets around - these will track very slowly, I fear.

Now I need to put in the turret docks on the other side, since that bit won\'t work in symmetry.

Still, I\'m having fun screwing around, that\'s what counts I suppose...

But I am sorry to say they are not \"very\" large. At least they do not look like it in the pics. They are large but I have seen bigger. Also you mind posting stats (shields, mass, dimension, and number of amcs per gun)

I only say large because they are large for something I have built.

Hell, they\'re bigger than any ship I\'ve built...

As for the stats you want...hmm...

Well here, I took and cropped a few screenshots showing the overall turret stats, as well as the cannon stats. I don\'t know how many AMC units I put in the thing...

I got tired of messing with my station, so I built this thing...not complete yet, I need to tweak a few things and find some SD-cockpits so I have better views.
