A humble ship request.

I've come into this game recently and have been having a blast with it so far. I enjoy messing with weapons and other systems and seeing how I fare against AI and goofing around in general.



While looking around online I found a ship design that I thought would look pretty cool if only I could figure out some way to make it. It's in the upper left of the picture found here: http://strangelet.deviantart.com/art/Sunshadowing-29923894



Another picture by the same artist labels it as the Baesir.

I keep trying to build it, but I'm no block picasso by any means. I keep stumbling over scale or shape, or any number of things. I know the V shape is likely the crux of this. Should anyone care to give it a try I'd greatly appreciate it. I'll likely keep trying at any rate.

I guess it really depends on the kind of scale you are after. At a length of maybe 200 metres the angle might seem good enough for what your after, although you\'ll never have it perfect. If you like i can make a shell for it and have you flesh it out, but I am currently spending most of my time on my titan project.



Nonetheless it looks pretty cool.

If it\'s not too much trouble that would great, it\'s still eluding me.

I still haven\'t tried anything on that scale, which is probably where I was having most of the problem. I can hardly imagine making anything titan-sized, so color me impressed on your current project.

I\'ll work on it over the next couple of days. Also tried looking for more pictures of for more reference, but i couldn\'t find anymore. So for the areas that can\'t be seen in this photo I will have wing it.

I believe the ship is really called the SDB Aesir.

This is currently taking longer than i expected heh. Ive already scrapped it once cos it was too big and the smaller one is still too big, however I\'ll stick with it.



It\'s currently 210 blocks long and I still have quite a lot too add. I think I\'m also going to properly finish it aswell, however if you wanted just the shell then I can send you it once I finish that part.

Heck, both versions would be neat, that way the shell version could be developed into variants.



Also, it does look like I derped a little, and the design is called the Aesir.

Not sure if your still after this man but I have not forgotten. I\'ve recently been playing the new civ5 expansion pack which has sucked my life away. I\'m still probably about halfway finished the shell, with still the middle and bottom back half to go with it. If you still have the patience I\'ll be starting starmade again as I have gotten my fix of civ and will resume building.

I\'ve been distracted by some Steam sale purchases myself but am looking forward to getting back to Starmade again soon.
