    I didn't know that these are already posted or not and I didn't want to clutter the forums so I decided to make one post with a bunch of suggestion.

    Catalog/Blueprint Suggestions

    A lot of people are asking to be able to disable buying from the catalog for reasons such as griefers spamming huge ships causing lag/crashing, the feeling it's cheating, etc. But I was wondering if the option of using materials from your inventory to "buy" from the catalog a possibility to add. So, for instance, if I made a ship and saved it it would record that I used 12000 gray hall, 100 power blocks, 100 shields, 1 weapons computer, 2 missle computers, and 20 engines. Then when I created the blueprint it would display the required materials inside the catalog when the blueprint is expanded. Then when I wanted to buy that ship I would have to make sure that those materials were on my person at the time. A hybrid of these catalog options could also be made when buying too. So I would need the required materials and a (reduced) cost to cover the "speedy build costs".



    Ship Building/Block Suggestions

    Have a block that allows players to enter flight mode only on a ship. Maybe creating the restriction of only allowing one being place on a ship at a time. Personal note: mainly, I would want this for using manual turrets.

    Cockpits look the direction they're pointed. In big ships I like to use these as cameras to see what's docked in my ship and it would be nice if they show the direction they are facing.

    Switch blocks. Having blocks that can be linked to doors, lifts, etc. would be nice. Also being able to hotbar switches like weapons. Like if I had docked drones on my ship that I want protected until I released them I could have a switch connected to doors that surround their docking area that I can open and close or having remote control over docking doors. Actually, having some some OR/AND/NOR/NAND/etc system (i.e. minecraft's redstone) in place would be awesome altogether.

    I know this has been mentioned several times but I REALLY like this idea. Lifts on ships. That's all I'll say about that.

    Spotlight blocks. With small salvager ships I like to go into stations and planets to harvest materials and normal lights aren't bright enough.

    Wheels. On planets it'd be nice to make excavators or mobile AA/tanks so wheel blocks that can climb a level at a time would be useful to work in environments with gravity. OR hover module blocks that hover continuously at 1 block above the surface.

    Lazer marker blocks. Have a block that you can adjust the length of a continuous lazer that can be seen in and out of build mode that is green when something is in it's path and red when something is in the way. This can help with building but also designate staging areas for much larger ships by stations to let them know they're in the right position.

    Things I know are in the works or can't be implemented till way down the road

    Monsters. May I suggest something like the like the Chryssalid (http://xcom.wikia.com/wiki/Chryssalid) :3
