I was on a server with a protected spawn, people could still shoot, and even depleted my shields (i was new to the server and just building my first ship) bu, even though the red numbers would pop up all over my ship, no blocks actually took damage. I have since left that server, full of idiots...

I agree with Frosth, If you join a faction and someone in that faction then steals your ship, then you joined the wrong faction. If you really that worried about it, then have your own secret base somewhere that you can park your ships at when not using them.

Has it got a interior? or is it just soild with sheild blocks and power etc?

A scanner device would be good, Would require a equivelent amount of power to operate, compared to the amount cloaks use, and depending on the number of scanner blocks connected together, the better it is, detect cloaked ships futher away, etc

Well it seems pirates can damage my base, i came back from being afk, noticed a few extra abandoned ships around, with their cores going to explode and noticed a few blocks here n there missing from my base. don\'t understand how all that much, surely my shields would have dealt with the pirates...
