      Thanks for your help but its still not fixed. I changed the install path to C:/Starmade and it updated everything, no failure to download anything, but when I click OK and launch the game; I get the "StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of bounds: 0" error again.

      I had a problem launching the game so I decided to reinstall it on steam. I download the launcher fine but when I try and update; it gets so far then has an error. Please help, I've been trying for hours to fix this.

      Game won't launch StringIndex

      Hey, when once I've chosen a server I hit OK then the game tries to launch but an error pops up saying: "stringindexoutofboundsexception; String index out of range:0" I've tried updating Java but that hasn't worked. Thanks for the help
