Holographic space-streets help orientation in 3D space

This would be a major improvement in how we navigate between points.. I love it Additionally, would you consider a display of this in real time say done with a separate block to be a worthy consideration. This way you could display navigation data in real time in say like a command center room...

      Resource Reports

Hmmm this could also be used to keep tabs on who deposits what resources into the ship yard to build things with! This would have some serious applications at a faction level for inventory and block management as well as inventory control

      Brainstorm This Thruster Fuel

While not a bad idea, to be honest I find the concept to bring some much needed realism to the game. However it raises a few more questions. How will we 1. recover fuel from a abandoned wreck of a ship 2. transfer the fuel between ships 3. manufacture ,with a little prep, or a lot of prep. (...

      Faction Menu Options?

So it would just have no information listed as a default? I like the idea, I was just trying to find a middle of the road suggestion... but if I could I would have it be default off.

      Faction Menu Options?

The option to have the location of your home base be known to the public. Or for that matter the option to make your home system not be public information

      Regarding the faction base issue.

My reasoning for focusing on mapping is simply for the fact that the universe is quite big. So with so many stars to explore, it would make hiding a home base easier. Of course, I did forget to mention that the guild would be a place to get general information for explored star systems, or you...

Shared Thoughts For Enhancing Quality Of Life

How about navigational display map... or idk a three dimensional hologram block that uses map data

      Regarding the faction base issue.

Additionally, this would also go a long way to hide and conceal home base locations, because we could assume that the trading guild does not know all of the system points of interest. This means that the only way to find a factions actual location would be to buy it at a very very very high...

      Regarding the faction base issue.

Perhaps a better solution would be to have the trading guild, as a faction if it still will be one, send out ships from time to time to collect navigational data from systems that are un inhabited by the traders guild. Then the guild will have the opportunity to sell the navigational data to you...

Completely grief-proof way of faction homebase capturing.

Hmmm I would that that a combination of defensive emplacements, better shielding for stations, AI controlled defensive ships, and making faction stations in general harder to find might be a decent place to start if we were to begin considering making home bases vulnerable

Completely grief-proof way of faction homebase capturing.

A possible suggestion, allow the factions to choose if they want the information for their home base to be listed when they make the home base. Of course the data would still be known to the faction members, but not readily known to the rest of the universe. Then the only way to find the...

      Regarding the faction base issue.

We do for certain need a new or improved map system, and faction system that does not openly list controlled territory and home base information. Maybe a good way to find out who exactly controls a sector is to base this information off of encounters with other stations/ ships that the player...

Completely grief-proof way of faction homebase capturing.

I think the biggest problem we would run into would be attacks against a faction home base when none of its members were online. So far there have been several suggestions that might help reduce the possibility of these attacks, but I still feel like we would be doing a serious disservice to...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

... Got caught up in reading the thread since I had last seen it... appears that Keptick beat me to the conclusion I have just made... I really agree with his laziness is not an excuse to be handed god powers argument.

Transporters: no transport on same entity

How about this... for the same entity there must be some sort of connection of blocks, solid blocks not light rods, for the transporter to work... I mean hey it makes sense if you use something that will not interfere with shields there has to be wiring somewhere right? This means that by simply...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

I could also see this being abused, since the process drops shields down to zero, in combat by those that want to sabotage the enemy... While I am not horribly opposed to the idea... it just brings what I feel to be another unnecessary level of worry when it comes to security and permissions...

Transporters: no transport on same entity

I think that this would in fact be beneficial for the game if we excluded the possibility of teleportation within an entity. It would as mentioned above make interior design worthless and would in fact lead to problems with boarding and trying to take over ships.

      Blueprint Buying

I would say that having a button in a shop to buy all inventory items pertaining to specific blue print would be worth a look. of course this is if the shop has the items in stock and what not. other than that I am hesitant to bring back the ability, unwilling more than anything, to buy ships...

      Planned Debris Fields

If there are in fact abandoned ships in debris fields, I think a way to add danger to exploration would be to have small defense systems or parts of the ship themselves remain active and openly hostile to any player going through the area
