An Open Letter to the Odium Pact Refugees

Glad you spoke up! It's always the silent ones that have the most powerful words. Pleased to see you still remember the fun we had on MPN, old friend.

An Open Letter to the Odium Pact Refugees

Doughnut was SUPPOSED TO BE IN ODIUM AND BE AN ELWYN ADMIN! I only became admin AFTER YOU GUYS LEFT ELWYN FOR SS! All of the other ones are inactive unless something breaks BECAUSE THEY GOT SICK OF THE DRAMA AND PLEBBERY! There is no basis for this and no pattern to go on, especially because...

To Whom it may Concern (revised)

Oh if only I hadn't been too lazy with screencaps after "The CoK Incident," maybe then I could prove they were welcomed back with open arms. Until someone has proof it happened, proof it didn't, or just better proof in general, all I see is both sides bantering back and forth about how "the...

To Whom it may Concern (revised)

Hence the announcement. He helped found it and discussed the removal of EH from the pact with other Odium founders. As a founder Doughnut should be able to make his own decisions about the group he helped start, not follow orders from someone who doesn't understand the back story. Also, is...

      United Elwyn Factions

Shhh. Shhh. Shhhhh, calm down. He may just be jealous of our jelly.

An open letter to the Calderon Republic refugees

Don't understand how rumor because this: http://starmadedock.net/threads/calderon-republic-open-pvp-building-diplomacy-mining.4605/page-4 I'm not completely sure what's going on, but from what I gather some people may be inclined to leave CR because of internal affairs. I think Jaask is just...

      The Thryn [Recruitment Limited]

I'm sure people would be happy to take the fight server-side if anyone was online. It's not much fun destroying anything not home base protected over and over again. I don't mean to poke and prod and start drama, but I haven't exactly seen too much activity from either side in-game besides a...

A mix of Crafting, adding content, and salvage issue solving

So I had an idea because I believe we've noticed that if someone goes over the top with salvaging planets it tends to lag servers. Because it seems a lot of the community wants new content as well as for the game to be fixed, I figured this would give people something fresh to work with and...

-Odium Pact- Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

All my ships are polished turds, but they sure as hell are functional! :P I try to avoid the whole "Cubage" thing too by trying to add more than one type of polygon. If I wasn't so secretive of my built designs you'd see in all of them that curves aren't exactly my thing... Is it an issue...

-Odium Pact- Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

I was a bit rushed to finish the ship, that's only a prototype. I intend on adding a lot more detail once I have the time and resources again. Also, if anything, its octogon shape insinuates a "Doomogon." With cat ears. It's based off this guy...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

Guess they're more common on other servers then, because I've seen quite a few in my time. Oddly enough, they're less common with Borg RPers. Well then, I apologize. Guess I just got flustered because of the people that want them eliminated completely. I disagree harshly with them. It's all...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

It's a bad thing to combat something that somebody can always find a workaround for. Add limits to eliminate the workarounds and people tend to go with the next best thing that works, often in cube shape. Giganticism may not be practical in the eyes of the devs or people on servers that are more...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

I've played since August 2012 and for me bigger ships are what I build. Not just for the sake of a bigger ship, but as a means to survive as a smaller faction. It was also a means for power balance, since larger ships were naturally harder to kill it would allow me and my allies to help balance...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

Yes. I only mine in faction owned space yet seem to hardly get enough for a frigate. Planets take between 1-6 hours to harvest too with a 28k mass salvager. My fps also tanks because of those blue grid blocks that appear and can't be disabled, so that doesn't help.

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

I understand that resources are unlimited, but I feel it also shouldn't take 10 planets to make one decent frigate. I'm sure some people don't want to go a galaxy or two over for resources either. Once again the issue is time. Also, by restart do you mean a map wipe? At that point everyone has...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

Just so we're clear I honestly don't really care about this update. Was bored in class, had an idea, and decided to see what responses would pop up. Honestly, the only real complaint I have about the recent changes would be what is already stated in a previous post about possibly either upping...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

True, but this can also happen anywhere at any time unless the server is whitelisted given enough time and the wrong people. They have more systems around them with planets, essentially meaning more resources in less space compared to the more spread out galactic "arms" The only meddling...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

That's not the point. I've been on this server for 2 years since August 2012, May 2013 if you want to count how active I was. I shouldn't have to suddenly jump ship just because the leaders of some out-of-server organization wants to harass others over one line of words. It didn't used to be...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

Another point that I didn't have time to add is the fact that this system also forces dependence on other people, forcing them to work together in order to accomplish something great. It forces the smaller factions to either collaborate or rely on the larger factions to support and supply them...

      Regarding the blueprint revamp...

Reading through a lot of this I have to say the idea is innovative. However, there are some issues with it. Say you have played this game for 2 years, seeing every change and liking it more and more. Most of your time is spent salvaging and building your ship of mass destruction. Let's say to...
