I roll with this idea, although I have a range, smaller, faster ones for fighters. My turrets can rip through anything Battleship sized with eaze, I have 68 and at least 8 of those do upward of 1000 damage. The rest are something like 800-900, 700-750, 600, 400, 100-200. A wide range for...

Do these work in the game at the moment, because this would make all this even better! Love it, but maybe not still taking damage with shields up, that seems odd, but all else is great! Adding shield combat regen. modules would be great, would mean more blocks required for less shields!

This would be perfect... I hate having illuminated strips all over my hangers... 10 lights for a 10m room yey!

I like all of these ideas :) I also agree with Puck, we need far less planets.

Imagine combat inside a ship, where people are fighting from train to platform, and even within the trains. It would be epic to say the least, teloprters would be insta-runaway xD

Giant space worms is what i thaught reading your post xD you could create debris fields (all connected up, it would be like a spiders web! catching prey) with turrets/bombs in your home sector, kinda like a space mine-field.

I hope you do realise that \"redstone\" is just circuitry... it is everywhere and everyone in the modern world uses it, so saying adding a circuitry system is a minecraft ripoff is totally illogical...

I am sure there are many possible uses, especially as the game progresses, the door scenario is just an example :)
