What you want is unnecessary. If the "extra" axis' that you're using would give your turret a wider range of motion... use them as the turret axis' instead.

Here's my version of a countdown clock. It's lazy, but it works.

IIRC there's no way for it to continue counting after unloading, but it's very easy. I'll say more tommorow if you're actually interested.
