      The Ultimate Mech Challenge

I find this quite ironic, as another game with similar mechanics had all sorts of versions of this created within days of release. My personal favorite: http://i.imgur.com/AV2C3EV.gifv (Don't worry, guys. It's mechanical objects with about the same amount of resemblance that you might find...

Bobby AI: can it be activated with logic?

Not sure myself, but it's a great idea. :)

      The Rail show off thread!

As I understand the mechanics, you can't drag a planet with you because you can't actually dock a planet to anything. You can dock things to a planet, but not vice-verse. The planet would be the "master" (or the entity to which everything else is connected to), and therefore the only entity...

      Anyone else having this problem?

I've got a whole mess of ideas for the rails, and just shy of ZERO time to work on them. :(

      CLOSED* CONTEST: Default Stations Submission

So does that mean no blinking docking lights, light switches, etc.? You didn't list them in your examples... :(

Have any servers converted to the new patch?

I've updated my server to it. We're currently trying to wrap our heads around the new weapons systems. Of note: shields will now continuously recharge in the middle of combat. This really throws the balance off, since now you can spam shield blocks again to get theoretically infinite...

      News worth waiting for

Yeah, nice try. Also, it\'s not even April 1 yet in many parts of the world.

In space nobody can hear you scream (realistic sound for outer space)

In practice, this would mean you can hear your own weapons, engines, etc., but not anyone else\'s until their weapons-fire hit you, right? I sure hope that\'s where you\'re trying to go with that. I\'d sure love to have Firefly-esque gameplay.

      StarMade Prebuild 0.09439: weapon balance

So given the same number of blocks, fewer larger arrays will be more power-efficient than multiple smaller arrays? This sounds like a large step in the right direction. =)

      StarMade Prebuild 0.09438

So Schema makes this pretty awesome game in which you can free-form build any ship you like, fly it around, and shoot up enemies with it. And he makes sure it runs as well as possible by constantly updating systems, fixing bugs, and adding new features. And it\'s still in Alpha (which is...

      StarMade Prebuild 0.09433

If someone wants to build a ship large enough to be a \"shotgun\", then you can just as easily exploit their weakness by shooting at the wide parts. It\'s balanced by the fact that you\'re flying a barn with a giant neon red target painted on it.

StarMade Prebuild 0.09425: Too many open files

Oh, and Schema, thanks for all your hard work. I\'m looking forward to when these pre-builds are stable enough for release - I\'ve been subject to many of these bugs, which manifest themselves in the form of chunks no longer loading upon logging back in (after a client crash). This normally...
