I dont know if this a known bug or not but i have found that spawning a new ship core shows its dimesions as 3mx3mx3m. I do not think that is right as addin a block on any face will result in 3x3x4, 4x3x3 or 3x4x3. So by that measurement its telling me the ship core is supposed to be larger...
