      Yeah, player signatures should be off by default... IMO, there should be player labels visible over heads, but not radar diamonds. (And the player labels shouldn't be visible through walls)

      I've run into that kind of thing too, but... There are only so many types of blocks the game can hold. I don't think rainbow doors should be top priority. :P

      No colored doors, that's silly, but yes, door wedges would be a good thing. And different TYPES of doors - say, thin, sliding doors that open automatically when you touch them, etc.

      You know what REALLY wouldn't hurt? A recipe for basic hull that only requires a corresponding metal capsule, at a rate of around 1 capsule to 5 hull. And pulling the random reactor blocks out of the recipes.

      You have a point, but that's not the issue... The problem is that, in such a situation, crafting things would be (and is) frustrating. The ingredients and recipes aren't very intuitive, and they require a ridiculous amount of different types of components.

      Yes, but it's kind of goofy and doesn't do the design any good.

      ...Then I think what you need, friend, is rapid missiles, preferably with overdrive. Locking missiles are good for certain things, but they aren't supposed to be the end-all-be-all of missiles - which is good, a missile that can track people can easily become somewhat OP.

      That's kinda between the two... It's both a 'unique result,' in a sense, and an 'easier way to get things', in a sense.

      I don't really like the second part. Paint should be an incredibly cheap derivative of rocks, since they're essentially a mining byproduct anyway - something like 100 paint to a rock capsule.       Isn't that /create_faction_as -3 Intergalactic_police_Peace_keepers ? Otherwise wouldn't it throw a too-many-arguments exception? Or, better, just drop the underscores and mark your string argument with quotation marks: /create_faction_as -3 "Intergalactic Police Peacekeepers" ?

      Not bad ideas at all... But yeah, from my experience it isn't -that- bad. Just takes a bit of skill, usually, and varied weapons systems. Don't rely on onboard lockon missiles for everything. Ever. Try turrets.
