EMP is not "useless"... It can be a huge problem vs. some larger ships, depending on how much buffer power they have.

Yep. It's probably the most useful thing about chairs currently. Rather than just being dumped out of your ship or wherever you'd normally land, the game puts you back in the seat.

Simple fix for that: Meshed chairs could have to link to a core (or computer(s)) to control a ship. Still somewhat neutral on this idea as I'm mostly going to wait and see what the Schine team has planned, but just being helpful.

Actually, friction is "not needed" because of the Stop tertiary and the Overdrive defensive effect. Otherwise when a sector loads a ship would continue to zip off, possibly with no chance of recovery. Regardless, though, perhaps there should still be global space friction when traveling at...

That's only due to derpy missile physics - the explosions penetrate blocks and shields, hitting docked entities and whatever else is inside, rather than being absorbed by the shields or armor. Schema has a plan in place for this; for now IDK what to do though. :P

Well, Valiant's system is okay, but then there needs to be some kind of "Master Computer" that lets you use core functions (Structure menu and helm control, to be specific) from places other than the core. Due to this, I agree with Crimson.

Um, how does Dalmont's look remotely like a trade station? The outside looks like a really amazing generic space outpost, and the inside looks like an awesome abandoned alien military environmental training facility.

In the end, there's no ending doomcubes. About the best we can do is force them to be covered in hull, crystal, or doors so that they don't look quite as lame.
