      TBH, why do we need stabilizers at all? It seems to me that everything works fine without them. If we want to have power nodes or something to distribute power in large ships (give the base reactor a max range and create more vulnerable targets in large ships), that's fine, but why stabilizers...

      ...Also, from the video, what's to stop people from simply filling out their hulls as they do now? It doesn't look like there's any actual advantage to arranging things the way it was done in the video, with everything in small separate units.

      That is... really not what I meant. We can keep the UIs, but they should be accessed via computers, not by the player's 'portable' UI.

      Fleets and mail should definitely be accessed by computer. Thrusters are a bit more controversial... Personally, I had no issue with the Space Engineers approach to thrusters. The main problem I had was the noticeably low top speed of ships and the general clunkiness of the first-person...

      Uh, no. They're humans just like us and have to have some form of entertainment, but regardless, so far as I can tell, Schema, the guy who actually is relevant to this conversation, spends a lot of time working on the game.

      Nothing. The model is still sitting somewhere; when the fauna system is implemented it will include space whales. But the fauna system isn't coming for a while, as there are much more important things for Schine to be doing with their time at the moment.
