So I finally figured it out, I had to delete the .lck file in the sever database index folder. Everything is back to normal. Maybe this will help someone some day.

Thanks for the quick reply but I have restarted and shut down my computer several times and still get the same error even when I just try to play single player without starting a dedicated server.

Hope this is the right place to post this and hopefully someone can help. Here is the problem, I was playing starmade in single person, building a big ship next to my home planet and was getting lag. I thought I read somewhere that if you start a dedicated server it can help with the lag...
