That's helpful thank you. I saw that linking different weapons systems provides different effects but I didn't know it could be done with salvage computers too. So if I just link one salvage computer to one cannon computer and all the salvage modules to the salvage computer, I can mine continuously?

So I slave a salvage computer to a cannon computer is what you're saying? Is that what you mean? Do I only need one of each for all of those salvage modules? Why do I need cannon modules if I'm only making a miner though?

I've been reading the wiki a lot and it's helped in place of the tutorials I skipped. I will probably go back and do them tomorrow. Or I won't and I'll just take the knowledge I've gained here and build! I'll have to go back to the shop and get some more credits and blocks for my home base but...

So just so I'm clear, use a Build Block to make a T of Power Modules and then go into Build Mode and place the factories? That's how I do it?

My friend has a mining ship but I need to make one too but I'm out of credits. I suppose I could give myself some more if I wanted to cheat. But if I don't want else can I do to get more credits? Also, how do you change the server settings? I did skip the tutorials haha. I'll do them tomorrow

I think I understand. We're going to have to redo our mining ship then :P. We didn't know you could slave the salvage computer to the cannon computer either. That will be a huge help.

So slave a Cannon Computer to the Salvage Modules instead of a Salvage Computer? Am I understanding that right? Also, do I understand the wiki post about Salvage Modules saying if they're in a block formation like so: XXXX XXXX then they are more powerful? Is that correct?

Ah, that link helps a lot thank you! I think if I understand right, that is how my friend built his ship. So it's just a matter of mining now. Whenever we do the scattered shot though, it doesn't seem to actually be mining anything. We'll have to take a look at it.

When you say non-adjacent line of salvage modules, what would that look like? And what do you mean by lines of power reactors? Can you show pictures maybe? Or link me to the right wiki page? Because there are tons of Power blocks and I'm not sure which one you mean.

Not inspiration; direction. We need direction on what we should be building next. Our ships don't move that fast, so building faster and better ships is a priority right now, as well as mining. But we don't know how to make our ships go faster. We don't understand what the power modules do...
