Alright, haven't had much time to spend on Starmade in the last months. And the time I had were spent building mostly other stuff. Regardless here are some pics to show that this project isn't abandoned and in fact is making progress.

I think there was a problem with smaller blocks. IIRC only one block, no matter the size, can occupy a 1^3 segment. Otherwise the game would explode, figuratively. Small blocks still would be nice for furniture and stuff. The light rods are going in the right direction imo.

Yes, that's the best part of the design after all. It was a pain in the ass though, since I always forget to add or remove the symmetry-axis.
