Well if you cant get a good amount of detailing on a small ship then you simply need to practice more. It's easy enough to get some good details on small ships and it is actually mostly better to practice on smaller ships as you will find out how to place the detailing without ruining the ship...

Did all that, tried to go to the second launcer or the connection setup as you call it. It says it needs to create that database index and then it pops up with the progress bar and gets stuck immediatly
