      Satellites wouldn't work even with the proper gravity radius. Remember, planets and their gravity fields aren't round, they're dodecahedrons, so any possible satellite will end up getting thrown in different directions a bit, until the thing ends up either being thrown out of orbit or crashing.

      Doesn't work with Damage Pulse as far as I know; that's a different system and I'm assuming that currently there's not even a way programmed in for pulse bubbles to move.

      You guys do realize that oriented thrust has nothing to do with how your ships look, right? It would be as simple as using your remove filter to pull out some thrusters and put them back facing a different way. :\

      Your suggestion wasn't bad, but it just felt a little awkward to me... You'd end up with a fairly big mess of display blocks to do much of anything. With my system, if someone just wants something with two states - which would be fairly common, I'd imagine - all they need is one block hooked up...

      You wouldn't even need the tracking function. Usually you can track a ship with the Tracking Bacon on it by the fact that whatever system it's in lags like hell because of all the people chasing after it trying to get the bacon.

      You forgot cumulative armor. The total amount of armor on the ship will contribute towards mitigating some of the damage on any armored block, meaning that finally, armor has an actual use - even interiors, which are usually made of armor blocks, will now contribute heavily to a ship's ability...

      Wow, this method looks fine to me. In StarMade there are already worse planet transitions (Planets change color from certain angles, the dodecahedrons you see from outside the planet sector have nothing to do with planet terrain...) so something like that would be great.
