HexChat is a pretty good alternative IRC client for download. Its the one that I use to script commands when i right click peoples names like slaps :)

If you're all looking for a new server, I know that Elwyn is resetting when the weapons update lands, and is running on a new 4 core 32GB machine.

If you look through the games files, you can see a large amount of sounds ready for use. This is probably planned, but they just wanna get everything finalized first. No point deciding a sound is for something then changing it so that sound is now redundant :)

You may have a good PC, but not everyone does. Have you heard of the game maxing peoples PC's out? That is from updating the block format of ships. This system would do exactly the same.

This is a well known tip. The USE mod by Titansmasher and Crusade used to do the same, and i am sure that many others did aswell.
