I'm very sorry about that :( , I'd expect people to save their ships when the play on servers. HOWEVER, you have an invincible home base: "dock it or lose it". (or just hide it somewhere unlikely to be found, that's what I do).

Oh I did too, it's just that past a certain point even mods were repetitive and boring. In starmade there's always stuff to do. Heck, I'm still making my first ship after more than a year of building ^_^ (I did make more than 1 ship in that time, but I'm still working on the first one I started).
