I expected one of the handful of councilors who actually does any PvP to, well... know a little bit more about PvP? This is just sad. No, the problem is not homebase invulnerability. The problem is that this suggestion makes it so boarders have no way to prevent a player from fleeing from combat...
Do you want Stop and JDIs to be removed as well? Because you can't do something like, I dunno, hook up a warpgate between you and your friend's homebases, or take a permacloak chain jumper when you go visit, or just accept that PvP on a PvP server isn't griefing?
"Just use this debug function to find a single block that could be floating hundreds of meters away from the main ship!"
Yeah, how about we not have to rely on some debug function that could get removed some day to make boarding possible. :)
If you're playing on a PvP server, EXPECT PVP. It's not griefing when someone attacks one on a PVP SERVER.
Yeah, uh... finding an invisible block in astronaut mode. That's a funny joke.
People don't typically fly around warships when they're not interested in fighting. This is not "griefing." It's stopping a person trying to flee from a fight they know they're going to lose, and it should remain in the game for the same reason that stop weapons and inhibitors are in the game.
